Yi Gu

Yi Gu is an Engineering Manager and Architect at Apple, where they lead end-to-end sensor system development, including aspects of system architecture, design implementation, and integration. They previously served as a Sensor Hardware Architect at Apple and held a research assistant position at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Yi completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, where their work focused on developing the world's first sub-millimeter resolution small animal Positron Emission Tomography (PET) system. With a strong background in electronics and algorithms, Yi is skilled in multi-disciplinary collaboration and project risk management.
