Yi Qiao is a physicist with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Apple since April 2014. Prior to this role, Yi Qiao served as a Specialist Physicist and Technical Project Leader at 3M from January 2010 to April 2014, and as a Senior Engineer at the same company from July 2006 to January 2010, where responsibilities included designing and prototyping optical instruments for thin film manufacturing process diagnosis. Yi Qiao holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University, completed in 2006.
