Ying Cui

Ying Cui is a Principal Scientist/Engineer at Apple, where they focus on algorithm design and implementation for the AppStore Sponsored Search Ads system. With over 10 years of experience in research and development, they have a strong background in data mining, machine learning, and statistical pattern recognition, complemented by proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, and Matlab. Ying previously worked as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University and as a Research Fellow at Mass. General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where they contributed to significant projects in high-dimensional data and image-guided radiotherapy. They also served as a Scientist at Yahoo! Labs, specializing in search and advertising science. Ying holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University and is currently pursuing a BS in the same field at Xi'an Jiaotong University.
