Ying Sun

Ying (Sunny) Sun is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in leading teams and developing data-driven solutions. Currently serving as a Data Science Manager at Apple since September 2022, Ying manages a team focused on leveraging AI/ML models and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Prior to this, Ying held significant roles at Vanguard, including Senior Manager where responsibilities included building a data science team, delivering impactful projects, and engaging the analytics community. Ying's career also includes positions at TD and Moody's Analytics, with expertise in quantitative analysis, stress testing, and econometric modeling. Ying holds a Doctor of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto, a Master's degree in Economics from McMaster University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Nankai University.
