Youyi Fu

Youyi Fu is a Reliability Engineering Manager at Apple with a strong background in mechanical engineering, having obtained a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California San Diego in December 2016. Their research focused on the mechanical design and failure analysis of hard disk drives, complementing hands-on experience in various testing and analysis methodologies. Prior to their current role, Youyi held positions as a Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer at Apple and as a Graduate Research Assistant at UC San Diego. In addition to their engineering expertise, Youyi enjoys sports and music, playing soccer, badminton, and basketball while also being a certified cellist from the Central Conservatory of Music in China.
