Yuri Vainbaum

Yuri Vainbaum is an experienced engineer with a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering. Vainbaum began the career at Tower Semiconductor LTD as a Device Engineer, focusing on CMOS image sensor pixel circuit design and characterization. Vainbaum then joined Intel Corporation as a Staff Logic Designer, implementing RTL designs for DDR3/4 and digital fractional PLLs within the PHY IO and special circuits group. Since October 2014, Vainbaum has been with Apple, serving as a Manager and Technical Lead/Architect in RTL/ASIC/Mixed Signal Hardware Engineering, leading teams in the development of DDR PHY, Die-to-Die PHY, display driver PHY, and custom PHYs. Vainbaum holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
