Ze Wang

Ze Wang is a Staff Software Engineer at Apple, where they have led the end-to-end infrastructure for the natural language search feature on the media platform, launched with iOS 18, and built scalable data extraction pipelines leveraging LLMs for semantic understanding. Prior to their current role, Ze worked as a Software Engineer at Apple, specializing in Siri Search, and as a Summer Software Development Intern at The Blackstone Group, where they developed an enhanced person search engine and a Restful API. Ze holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Virginia, alongside a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Optoelectronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
