Zhen Huang

Zhen Huang is a Machine Learning Manager and Principal Machine Learning R&D at Apple, focusing on multimodal foundation models with an emphasis on voice and speech technologies. With a Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Signal Processing, and Speech Recognition from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Zhen has also held various roles at Microsoft as a Research Intern and co-founded FullScaleNANO, where they developed automatic measurement algorithms for quality control in nanomanufacturing. Zhen's educational background includes a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an earlier Bachelor's degree in the same field from Southeast University.
