David Clark

David Clark is a Partner in Appleby’s corporate practice group with over 20 years of experience. They joined Appleby’s Bermuda office in April 2019, following a three-year tenure at the firm’s British Virgin Islands office and eleven years in the London office. David practices BVI and Bermuda law, specializing in banking, M&A, project finance, capital markets, structured finance, and restructuring, frequently representing major banks and multinational corporations in complex cross-border financing and joint ventures. David trained at Clifford Chance in London, qualifying in the capital markets department, and later specialized in structured finance at a major US law firm. They hold a B.A. and M.A. in Law from the University of Cambridge and were recognized in 2023 as a ‘market leader’ by IFLR1000 and named a ‘Leader in their Field’ by Chambers UK.
