David Lee

David Lee is a partner at Appleby, specializing in commercial litigation with a focus on disputes involving banks and funds. They have extensive experience in cross-border disputes related to complex financial products and fund insolvencies, having practiced internationally in the Cayman Islands, London, Hong Kong, and Dubai. Previously, David was a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, where they held various roles in the Dispute Resolution Department and advised on financial crime investigations while seconded to a global bank. David has also represented clients in regulatory and financial crime investigations conducted by various authorities, including the FCA, SFO, and ICAC. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Ancient History from the University of Bristol and a Legal Practice Certificate from BPP Law School, and are currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma of Law at the University of the West of England.
