Applecross Nursing Home is an award-winning specialist nursing service providing complex care for younger adults with physical disabilities and high dependency needs.

Based on the East Renfrewshire and Glasgow border, our 82 bed service delivers both short term and long term nursing care within a clinically robust and person centred framework. We are particularly recognised for our expertise in supporting younger adults who require structured, high level nursing intervention, specialist equipment and coordinated multidisciplinary input. In 2024, our team was honoured as Specialist Service / Unit of the Year at the Scottish Care National Care Home Awards.

Our experienced nursing and care teams work collaboratively with allied health professionals to develop individualised care plans that reflect each resident’s specific physical, clinical and personal requirements. Safety, dignity and quality of life remain central to our approach.

In addition to our specialist younger adult provision, we also provide high quality nursing care for older adults requiring twenty four hour support.
