Jenny Burns has a diverse range of work experience in the marketing, branding, and innovation fields. Jenny started their career as a Brand Strategist at Ogilvy's Brand Integration Group in 2001 and then moved on to become a Senior Brand Strategist at Brandimage (formerly Desgrippes Gobe) in 2004. In 2009, they joined Sterling Brands as the Director of Design Intelligence before becoming a Brand & Innovation Consultant at popchips in 2011. Jenny then worked at Honest Tea from 2012 to 2016, holding the position of Director of Mission & Natural Channel Brand Marketing. Following that, they took on the role of Marketing Director at Dang Foods in 2016, leading all aspects of marketing for the brand. In 2017, they transitioned to Applegate, where they held various roles, including Director of Innovation and Senior Director of Brand Equity, Innovation & Comms. Jenny is currently working as an Advisor at TIG Collective starting in 2023. Throughout their career, they have garnered accolades such as being a 4-time Nexty Award finalist and a 2-time winner at the Natural Products Expo West.
Jenny Burns obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Cornell University, achieving a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English. Additionally, Jenny pursued a field of study in English Literature at the University of Oxford. Currently, they are expected to attend Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2023 and earn a program certificate in the Agribusiness Seminar.
