Seamus Stapleton

Seamus Stapleton (ACA) has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Seamus started their professional career as a Summer Intern within the Corporate Government Team at eircom in 2006. From 2009 to 2012, Seamus worked at Deloitte Ireland, starting as a junior audit assistant and progressing to an audit senior. Seamus'sresponsibilities included financial statement assurance and advisory roles, as well as auditing small/medium enterprises to large plc's.

In 2012, Seamus joined The Rock Motors Ltd as a Forecourt Attendant/Shop Assistant until 2009. Afterwards, they joined Applegreen, initially serving as a Payroll Manager and later transitioning to roles such as Treasury Accountant, Wetstock Manager (ROI), and Head of Distribution & Fuel ROI. From 2017 to 2019, Seamus worked as a Corporate Finance Executive at Applegreen before becoming the Head of Retail Operations PFS and Dealer.

Currently, they hold the position of Commercial Director at Applegreen, starting in June 2021. With their strong background in finance, auditing, and operations management, Seamus has developed a comprehensive skill set that contributes to their success in the corporate environment.

Seamus Stapleton (ACA) completed their education with a Diploma in Corporate Finance from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2018. Before that, they earned a degree in Chartered Accountancy from Chartered Accountants Ireland from 2009 to 2012. In 2008, they pursued an M.B.S. in Accounting from Dublin City University. Seamus obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Accounting from University College Dublin in 2008. Seamus completed their Leaving Certificate from Patrician College Ballyfin in 2005.
