The Appletree School, founded by Peter and Wilhelmina Klaassen, is rooted in Christian traditions while embracing the diversity of faiths and cultures. Our school community fosters a welcoming environment for all, celebrating a variety of traditions throughout the year.

From weekly flag ceremonies and school meetings to themed events like Johnny Appleseed Week, Halloween, Diwali, and Service Day, our students engage in meaningful experiences that connect them to their community and beyond. We also honor significant holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, and Easter, offering opportunities for learning, celebration, and service.

Our commitment to cultural understanding is evident in our International and USA Day events, where families share their traditions with the school community. This open exchange of cultures enriches the learning experience for all students and creates a sense of belonging.

The Appletree School invites parents of all faiths and backgrounds to participate in these traditions and share their unique perspectives with our students. By fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, we aim to equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to thrive in a global society.
