Andy Campbell

Andy Campbell is currently a Head of Product at Applied Blockchain. Andy has previous experience as a Lead Software Developer, Tour Leader, and Lead Developer. Andy also has experience as a company owner.

Andy Campbell has always been interested in technology. Andy started their first company, ACT +Addons, when they were just out of college. The company provided software development services to small businesses. Andy then went on to work for IBM as part of their Extreme Blue UK 2013 program. After IBM, they became a Tour Leader for the University of Leeds before eventually becoming the Lead Software Developer for Loyalzoo, a digital loyalty solution for independent merchants.

At Loyalzoo, Andy Campbell helped pivot the company away from a consumer app based solution to a solution that merchants love with a 99% retention rate for paying merchants. Andy also moving the company away from agency development to a permanent development team which uses TDD and pair programming to write quality code.

Since leaving Loyalzoo, Andy Campbell has worked as a Lead Developer for Repairly and is now a Solution Architect at Applied Blockchain.

Andy Campbell studied computer science at the University of Leeds and then went on to Weston College to study software development. Andy then worked as a software developer for a few years before going back to school to study mathematics and computing at Broadoak Mathematics & Computing College.

They are on a team with Katerina Sobetskaia - Project Manager, Cláudia Neves - HR and Office Manager, and Patrick Timmis - Project Manager. Andy Campbell reports to Adi Ben-Ari, Founder & CEO.
