Applied Engineering is a 100% employee-owned engineering and technology company that was founded in Fargo, ND in 1986. We provide engineering and manufacturing consulting services, IT and custom programming services, and large format digital printing services. Applied combines talent and technology to offer custom solutions to fit our customer’s unique challenges. 

Since 1986, we have grown to over 130 employees. Our growth over the past 35 years has allowed us to open offices in more locations to better serve our customers. We are headquartered in Bismarck, ND, with additional offices in Fargo, ND; Brooklyn Park, MN; Sioux Falls, SD; and various remote locations. Over the years, we’ve been honored to receive various awards for our workplace culture, including; Best Place to Work award, and Top Place to Intern award from the ND Young Professionals Network, and have been selected as one of the Top 25 Best Large Companies to work for in the region by Prairie Business Magazine.
