Aaron Sorenson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Aaron started their career at Great Plains Software in 1987, where they worked in sales and marketing for 14 years. Aaron then joined Microsoft in 2001, initially as a Marketing Manager and later as a Consulting Engagement Manager. At Microsoft, they played a key role in developing and managing the Microsoft Dynamics Seminar Sales Practice. In 2005, Aaron joined Diamond Municipal Solutions as the US Sales and Channel Manager. Aaron then moved on to WennSoft in 2007, where they served as an Account Executive, focusing on partner and direct sales. From 2010 to 2014, Aaron worked at Admiral Consulting Group as the Director of Marketing and Product Management, responsible for managing marketing activities and lead generation for their Microsoft Dynamics business. In 2014, they joined Applied Engineering, Inc. as the Regional Manager for Software and Engineering Services, leading two teams of engineers in designing and building physical products and technology for their clients. In addition to their professional work, Aaron also served as a Member of the Board of Directors for FM Walleyes Unlimited from 2014 to 2017, promoting the improvement of fishing standards.
Aaron Sorenson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead, which they attended from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in Microsoft Dynamics CRM from Microsoft in February 2014.
