Gábor Scherer

Gábor Scherer has worked as a Software Engineer at Applied EV since May 2022. In this role, they contributed to the development of the complete software development workflow and later focused on application layer component development for the Digital Backbone in model-based IDE. Gábor also developed firmware in handwritten C for motor control units.

Prior to that, Gábor worked at EDAG Hungary Kft. from April 2020 to May 2022 as a Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing and unit testing new features and maintaining existing ones in the Battery Management System project. Additionally, they developed a Java application to automate the workflow of the architect team and reduce their overhead.

Gábor also gained experience as a Junior Software Engineer at Continental from August 2019 to October 2019. Gábor'swork primarily involved developing scripts in C language to automate testing for the functionalities of long-range radar ECU-s. Gábor used the Continental Verification Tool (CVT) and Hardware In the Loop system for running the tests.

Gábor Scherer attended Pannon Egyetem MIK - University of Pannonia FIT from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from the Hungarian Testing Board. In February 2021, they became ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, and in March 2022, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Automotive Software Tester certification.
