Engineering Manager - Integration and Test at Applied EV

Nick Mibus has a varied work experience that spans over two decades in the engineering field. Nick started working at Orbital Engine Company in 1995 as an Electronics and Control Systems Engineer, where they were involved in several tasks such as electronics and charging systems, software, and control system tuning. After that, they worked at GM Holden as a Specialist Project Engineer, where they liaised with stakeholders in Germany to achieve 4-cylinder global milestone targets and guided software development for a new transmission. Nick also worked as a Project Lead and Supervising Engineer, where they facilitated efficiency improvements via calibration tool development and project managed multiple V6 applications with a focus on drivability & emissions. Later, they worked as Senior Engineering Specialist at General Motors, where they spear-headed the development of the first Holden SIDI application with on-site support of the engine dynamometer champagne. At Holden, they held several roles such as Managing/Supervising Engineer and Manager/Engineering Group Manager - Transmission Calibration, where they oversaw procurement activities, arbitration of engineering activities on high profile applications, & executed concurrent projects requiring prioritization and collaboration. In 2020, they joined Invetech as an Associate Principal Mechanical Engineer, where they were hired to execute the transfer-to-manufacture of a desktop medical device. Nick oversaw procurement activities and supported the establishment of a manufacturing facility in Singapore. Currently, they are working at Applied EV - Software Defined Machines™ as an Engineering Manager - Integration and Test.

Nick Mibus has no recorded education prior to tertiary studies. Nick studied Manufacturing Systems Engineering at RMIT University, completing a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree.
