Erik Johnson has a diverse work experience in various fields. Erik started their career as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, serving as a Rifle Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer at the 101st Airborne Division and 3rd Infantry Regiment. After leaving the military in 2019, they joined the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a Foreign Affairs Specialist, where they advised senior officials on policy matters and facilitated inter-agency coordination. In 2021, they transitioned to MITRE as a Senior Engineer and Program Manager, specializing in data ETL strategy, UI/UX design, and wireless networking projects.
