Michael Wan

Michael Wan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael is currently working at Applied Intuition as an Engineering professional. Prior to that, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Berkeley College of Engineering, where they conducted research on optimal UAV flight planning and extended algorithms for autonomous drones. Michael also served as a Course Staff for CS 189. Additionally, Michael has gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Google and as a Research Intern at Capital One, where they focused on anomaly detection and prediction. Michael has also worked as a Tech Consultant at DiversaTech Consulting and as a Software Engineer Intern at Keysight Technologies. Furthermore, Michael co-founded CalTutors, a nonprofit organization that provided tutoring services to students across the Bay Area. Michael has also been involved in leadership roles at FIRST, serving as the Director of Electrical and Vision Department Lead for FRC Team 115. Additionally, Michael served as the Captain of the Monta Vista Varsity Tennis Team and demonstrated strong leadership skills. Michael Wan attended Monta Vista High School from 2014 to 2018. Michael then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the UC Berkeley College of Engineering from 2018 to 2022.
