Prashant Sachdeva

Prashant Sachdeva has a diverse work experience. Prashant is currently working as an Engineer at Applied Intuition since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer at Aurora from February 2021 to July 2022. Prashant also served as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon from 2020 to 2021. Prior to their role at Amazon, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Anomotion Interactive from 2019 to 2020. Prashant's earlier experiences include working as a Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia from January 2013 to April 2018, and as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from July 2011 to May 2012. Prashant also had a Research Internship at the University of Toronto in 2011, where they worked on procedural generation of brachiation motion and bipedal locomotion. Additionally, Prashant had a visiting researcher role at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) from August 2016 to May 2017, where they conducted biomechanical simulations and collaborated with surgeons at Keio University Hospital.

Prashant Sachdeva earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in the years 2007 to 2012. Prashant then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2007 to 2012 as well. Prashant continued their academic journey by attending The University of British Columbia, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from 2012 to 2019.
