Vignesh S.

Vignesh S. is an experienced professional in the field of electrical and computer engineering, currently serving as the Director of Localization and Map Fusion at XPENG Motors since December 2018. In this role, Vignesh leads R&D projects focused on self-driving technology, particularly in perception for the "XNGP" mapless self-driving product. Previously, Vignesh held positions as Senior Staff Manager at Samsung Semiconductor, Inc., where algorithm research for AR technologies was led, and as Staff Systems Engineer at QUALCOMM, where innovative algorithms for mobile technology were designed. Vignesh's academic background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
