Alan Smith, MBA, is currently a Manufacturing Engineer 2S at Applied Materials, where they support the assembly and testing of Selective Removal systems while adhering to ISO 9001 standards. They previously held roles as a Mechanical Engineer at Bluff Manufacturing and a Production Manager at Scientific Machine & Welding, where they implemented Lean Manufacturing principles and oversaw multi-million dollar projects. Alan's early career included experience as a Senior Design Project team member at Bell Helicopter and teaching STEM concepts as a Summer Camp Counselor at Robots-4-U. Alan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Christian University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Bellevue University, maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
