Benjamin Schwarz

Benjamin Schwarz has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as KPU Head for dielectric etch at Applied Materials since 2007, where roles have included Managing Director of Etch Productivity and Senior Director of Technology and Process Development. Prior to this, Benjamin Schwarz held positions such as Technology Development Director at Crocus Technology and Technologist at Intel. Earlier in career, Benjamin Schwarz worked as a Senior Engineer and Engineering Manager at Cypress Semiconductor. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona, and a Vordiplom in Verfahrenstechnik from the University of Stuttgart.
