Bill Monroe

Bill Monroe currently serves as the Manager of Continuous Improvement and previously held the title of Director of Planning at Applied Materials Varian Semiconductor since October 2014. Prior to this, Bill held the position of Global Spares Planning Manager from November 2011 to October 2014 at Applied Materials-Varian Semiconductor Equipment, and previously at Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates, Inc. from 1999 to April 2012. Bill's career also includes experience as Director of Finance/IT at American Science and Engineering from February 1995 to August 1999, and as Division Controller and Special Projects Controller at Waste Management Inc. from June 1981 to February 1993, with a three-year tenure in Florence, Italy. Bill holds an MBA in General from Clarkson University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University, with additional studies at The University of Edinburgh.
