Bob Davis has extensive work experience in the semiconductor and display manufacturing industries. Bob (Robert A.) started their career at Texas Instruments as an Engineer from 1985 to 1993. Bob (Robert A.) then joined Applied Materials, where they held various operations and engineering management positions from 1993 to 2008. From 2008 to 2013, Bob served as the VP of Non-Semi Operations at Applied Materials. From 2013 to 2020, they held the role of Corporate Vice President of Global Quality and Continuous Improvement, responsible for driving world-class quality performance and customer experience. Currently, Bob is the Group Vice President of Global Ops & Engineering at Applied Global Services & Display Flexible Technology.

Bob (Robert A.) Davis obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Machine Tool Technology/Machinist from Pennsylvania College of Technology, where they studied from 1982 to 1984. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology, completing it from 1984 to 1987.
