Cheryl Chang

Cheryl Chang is an experienced physicist and scientist at Applied Materials, where positions have included design engineer and process engineer since June 2018. Prior to this role, Cheryl contributed as a student researcher in Professor Ana C. Arias' group at UC Berkeley, developing fabrication techniques for flexible energy storage devices from October 2015 to May 2018. During her academic tenure, Cheryl served as president of the Materials Science and Engineering Association, overseeing a leadership team to facilitate professional events and opportunities for students. Additional roles at the Marvell Nanofabrication Lab included student process engineering staff, where responsibilities focused on quality monitoring for nano-fabrication processes. Academically, Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
