David Rokke

David Rokke has a solid background in chemical engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and a Doctor of Philosophy from Purdue University. Experience at Purdue University as a PhD candidate involved studying solution-based synthesis routes for thin-film chalcogenide photovoltaics and mentoring undergraduate researchers. Prior roles include serving as a visit office tour guide, subject tutor, and undergraduate research assistant at the University of Minnesota, where David conducted studies on oil spill remediation. Interning at Valspar, research focused on developing benign formulations for corrosion-inhibiting primers, and currently, David works as a Process Engineer III at Applied Materials. Expertise spans materials and optoelectronic characterization techniques and includes analytical testing and presentation of research findings.
