Ivan Chen

Ivan Chen is a seasoned Software Engineer at Applied Materials since August 2020, with prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Armorblox and TARA.AI. At Armorblox, notable projects included developing machine learning models to identify anomalous email senders and creating a sentence classification model. At TARA.AI, responsibilities involved applying machine learning to various projects from proof of concept to production and maintaining machine learning models. Ivan Chen holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Advanced Control Systems from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University. Additionally, an exchange program at Umeå University focused on Physics was completed.
