Iyer Subramani

Iyer Subramani is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in supply chain management and operations, currently serving as Managing Director of Service Procurement & Operations at Applied Materials since May 2010. Iyer has a proven track record of scaling operations, driving cross-functional programs across new territories, and managing significant spending across numerous suppliers. Significant contributions include the successful implementation of localization programs, enhancements to labor procurement systems, and improvements in supplier deliveries, resulting in notable cost reductions and awards for quality. Before joining Applied Materials, Iyer founded Dark Pixels Inc. and held several managerial roles at Intel Corporation, where strategic project management and process improvements were key responsibilities. Iyer holds dual MBAs from the University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia Business School, along with a Ph.D. in Polymers/Organic Chemistry from Michigan State University.
