James Ho Yu holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and possesses over 14 years of professional experience in the field of robotics and servo controls. Currently, as a Mechatronics Systems Engineer IV at Applied Materials, they focus on robotic embedded software development and real-time control algorithm design. Previously, James worked at POSCO as a Senior Engineer, developing wearable robot exoskeletons and underwater cleaning robots, as well as at Samsung Electronics, where they led projects involving EUV lithography equipment and mobile robot manipulators. They earned their Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science degrees from Hanyang University and Texas A&M University, respectively.
