James Maki

James Maki is a seasoned technology expert with extensive experience in embedded systems and software engineering. Currently serving as an Embedded Systems Architect and Software Engineering Director at Applied Materials since February 2022, James has successfully led the design of a high-resolution RF control platform and has played a critical role in expanding an engineering team to over 50 members. As the President of Revolayer since 2014, James has provided innovative embedded systems solutions to a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies. Previous roles include Principal Software Engineer at Transition Networks, where James contributed to new product development, and software engineering positions at Multi-Tech Systems and Ecessa Corporation. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from St. Cloud State University.
