Lei Zhou

Lei Zhou has extensive experience in process engineering and defect reduction, primarily at Applied Materials from June 2015 to December 2021, where responsibilities included directing and managing productivity improvements for ALD/CVD and PVD products. Prior roles at Applied Materials included Senior Manager and Engineering Manager in the Defect Center of Excellence. Additionally, Lei Zhou contributed as a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and held various positions at the University of Maryland, including Assistant Research Scientist, Research Associate, and Graduate Research Assistant. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Maryland and a BS in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
