Levent Colak has significant experience in process development engineering, specifically in the field of advanced optics and magnetic materials. With a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Delaware, Levent has worked at Seagate Technology and currently at Applied Materials. At Applied Materials, Levent assumed ownership of the advanced technology node and optimized process modules to meet market demands. Prior to their current role, Levent worked on new reader technology at Seagate, exploring innovative solutions for material and process development for advanced HDD heads. Throughout their career, Levent has demonstrated a strong expertise in experimental ion beam etching and thin film sputtering techniques.
