Michael Haverty

Michael Haverty is currently the Director of Materials Design Group and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Applied Materials, where they lead efforts in materials and chemistry pathfinding for semiconductor applications. They previously served in various engineering and managerial roles at Intel Corporation, focusing on optimizing parallel efficiency and material properties for high-performance computing. Michael has also held leadership positions at Exabyte.io and Property Vectors, offering advisory services and developing innovative modeling software. They earned a Master's degree in Materials Science from Stanford University and a B.S. in Materials Science and Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
