Mike Klein

Mike Klein is a highly experienced professional in the semiconductor manufacturing and VLSI design sectors. Currently serving as a Product Line Manager at Applied Materials since April 2020, Mike focuses on enhancing CMP performance globally. As a Principal at Manufacturing Objects, responsibilities include delivering contract services for EtherCAT® devices tailored for semiconductor applications. Previous roles include significant contributions as an Engineer at Malema, where Mike secured a major OEM contract by developing the first EtherCAT-based liquid flow sensor, and as CTO at Vantage Technology Corp., where Mike led substantial improvements in product quality and manufacturing processes. With a robust educational background including a Ph.D. and Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor's degree from Caltech, Mike brings advanced technical expertise and strategic vision to all endeavors.
