Mike Nye

Mike Nye is an experienced professional in sales operations and engineering with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Sales Operations Manager at Applied Materials since October 2005, Mike oversees project and program management, master scheduling, and manufacturing services. Previously held roles include interim Director of Operations, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and Project Manager, focusing on new product development and operational efficiency. Before joining Applied Materials, Mike was the Director of Quality at Cable Technology, managing quality engineering and customer improvement initiatives for aerospace and defense clients. Prior positions include Quality Technical Supervisor at IDD Aerospace and Manufacturing and Quality Engineer at Terex/Genie Industries, where Mike implemented process improvements and quality assurance. Additionally, Mike served as an Aviation Officer/Pilot in the US Army, where leadership was demonstrated during critical operations. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
