Mike Phillips has extensive experience in the semiconductor and engineering industries, currently serving as Managing Director for both VF APTD and NPI Transistor & Interconnect Group at Applied Materials since April 2016. Prior to this role, Mike held several key positions, including Director of Fab2 Equipment Engineering at TowerJazz and Sr. Director of Encapsulation Engineering & Operations at Solyndra. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Product Development Support at Intevac and Sr. Director of AGS Service Operations at Applied Materials. Mike began a career in the US Army as a Captain and also completed a summer internship at Cobe Laboratories. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University, earned between 1984 and 1989.
