Ohad Raz

Ohad Raz is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect at Applied Materials since December 2024, Ohad has led architectural initiatives to enhance production tool stability and address system resource bottlenecks. Previously, at Cybereason, Ohad played a pivotal role in developing a large-scale cloud-native cybersecurity platform. Ohad has also mentored teams at Fundbox, improving build cycles through the introduction of TDD methodology, and has driven significant transformation projects at Wix, including migrating legacy components to a scalable microservice architecture. With a solid foundation in Java/J2EE technologies, Ohad has contributed to the development of multi-tier architecture applications at companies such as Orbitz Worldwide, Oracle, Enigma, and Amdocs. Ohad holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Haifa.
