Peter Thompson

Peter Thompson is a Process Support Engineer at Applied Materials since July 2021, with prior experience as a Process Engineer II at Microchip Technology Inc. from August 2016 to July 2021, where responsibilities included managing critical oxidation processes and implant anneals. Additionally, Peter was an Undergraduate Researcher at the Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry in early 2016, focusing on dissolution rates and project management. Early experience also includes a Teacher's Assistant role at Oregon State University in late 2015, and internships at WaferTech and Morrow Equipment Company, focusing on process engineering and computer support, respectively. Peter holds a Master’s Certificate in Nanotechnology and Big Data from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University.
