Rob Dillon has over 27 years of experience in quality management and engineering within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Customer Quality Manager at Applied Materials since February 1996, Rob oversees the quality experiences of major semiconductor manufacturers, advocates for customer needs, conducts audits, and resolves product quality issues. Prior experience includes serving as a Field Service Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed customer service for Metrology tools, including the SEMVision 300mm, along with system troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Rob's career began in the US Navy, where Rob served from February 1988 to February 1996 as IC2(SS). Rob holds an education from Applied Global University, completing studies between 1996 and 2000.
