Rob Hartwig

Rob Hartwig is a retired engineer with extensive experience in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering. Currently holding the title of Retired Engineer after transitioning from Applied Materials in August 2024, Rob has been with Applied Materials since October 2015 as a Mechanical Electrical Engineer, specializing in the design, troubleshooting, and manufacturing of advanced wafer processing tools. Prior to this role, Rob served as the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering at Yield Engineering Systems from July 2021 to August 2024, where significant accomplishments included building the Manufacturing Engineering department and developing assembly procedures for multiple products. Rob's career at Applied Materials began in 1989 and lasted until 2008. Education was completed at DeVry University.
