Roy Winter

Roy Winter is a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering with extensive experience in both industry and academia. They served as a Technical Project Manager and Chief System Engineer at Applied Materials from 2018 to 2021, and currently hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at XtrION. Their research at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology focused on the correlation between electrical and material properties of gate stacks for advanced VLSI devices, where they completed their Ph.D. and also contributed as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant. In addition, they worked as a researcher in the Department of Bioelectronics at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne from 2017 to 2018.
