Ryan Ley

Ryan Ley is an accomplished electrical engineer currently working at Applied Materials since June 2021. Previously, Ryan held a research intern position at Facebook for a brief period in late 2020 and has been a graduate student researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, since September 2016, under the guidance of Professors Michael J. Gordon and Steven P. Ryan's research experience includes roles at Washington State University, where a focus was on cancer cell detection and drug delivery, and Miami University, which involved teaching assistance and research in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and wastewater treatment. Ryan obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara in 2021, complemented by a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from Miami University.
