Sami Mustafa is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently part of the CMP Fluids Engineering Team at Applied Materials since May 2016, Sami previously worked with the Advanced Technology Group and has held positions at Ultra Clean Technology as a Senior Engineer and at Marchi Thermal Systems, Inc. as an Engineer/Project Manager, where involvement included collaboration with industry-leading customers on ALD, MOCVD, etch, and clean tool projects. Sami's early career included a role as an R&D Engineer, focusing on the design and modeling of OEM heater and thermocouple assemblies, contributing to a US patent pending design that enhances heater performance. Sami began education at Karachi Grammar School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 2009, with additional experience in customer service through a position with the UCLA Alumni Association.
