Scott Nickerson

Scott Nickerson has extensive experience in engineering and product marketing within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Supplier Engineering at Applied Materials since January 2015, Scott has held various leadership positions including Director of Low Dose Product Marketing and Director of Engineering. Prior to joining Applied Materials, Scott worked at Varian Semiconductor for 15 years, progressing from Engineering Manager to Senior Electrical Engineering Manager. Earlier career experiences include roles at Axcelis Technologies, Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corporation, and Bruce Technologies/KSEC as an Electrical Engineer. Scott holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Control Systems from Tufts University, completed a Marketing Executive Leadership Accelerated Certificate Program at the University of California, Berkeley, and earned an Engineer's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Merrimack College.
