Sevim Korkmaz

Sevim Korkmaz has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and research. Sevim currently holds the position of Principal Process Integration Engineer at Applied Materials since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Process Engineer at Entegris from 2021 to 2022. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Micron Technology, first as a Senior Process Development Engineer and later as a Process Development Engineer. Sevim also worked as a Research Assistant and PhD Student at Clarkson University from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Intern at IBM in 2015 and as a Research Assistant at Yüzüncü Yıl University from 2010 to 2012.

Sevim Korkmaz has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry & Biomolecular Science at Clarkson University from 2011 to 2012. Sevim also holds another M.Sc. in Chemistry from Yüzüncü Yıl University, which they received between 2010 and 2012. Sevim Korkmaz's undergraduate degree is a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul University.
