Stefan Alexander is an engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in developing new products and technologies, particularly in smart glasses and augmented reality. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering at Applied Materials, they lead a team focused on creating smart glasses prototypes using innovative waveguides. Previously, Stefan held significant roles at Google, where they directed an 80+ member organization dedicated to augmented reality hardware technology, and at North, where they oversaw the development of the first all-day prescription smart glasses.
