Prior to this role, Sung held the position of Sr Director of Advanced Module Technology Development at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from April 2011 to March 2015. Additionally, Sung has significant expertise from previous roles as Director of Engineering at Samsung Electronics (1997 - 2009), Principal Member of Technical Staff at Motorola Semiconductor (1994 - 1997), and in Process Development at Micron Technology (1989 - 1994). Sung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Management from Colorado Technical University.
